Welcome to the support website for RedirectWeb, a browser extension that redirects all page loads in your browser, ensuring you always land where you want.

(Formerly known as Redirect Web for Safari or just Redirect Web.)

RedirectWeb is available on:

  • iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro (Safari)

  • You must install the RedirectWeb app from the Mac App Store to use the extension, no matter which browser you use, because the extensions rely on the app to access your rules, settings, etc.
  • The multi-browser support is only available on Mac.

These are the basic usages:

For example, you can create these rules:

  • View Reddit in its classic design (old.reddit.com).
  • Open Apple Maps whenever a Google Maps link appears.
  • Hide Google’s AI Overviews from Google search results by adding ?udm=14 to every search.
  • Jump from Fandom pages to the official Terraria or Minecraft wikis.
  • Use Kagi, Startpage, ChatGPT, and any other search engine as your default search engine.
  • Open Google Meet links in Google Chrome. (Mac)
  • Open Figma links directly in the Figma app. (Mac)
  • Open Notion links directly in the Notion app. (Mac)

You can get all of these as pre-defined rules for free from the Library section in the app!

Features​

RedirectWeb comes with the following features:

  • Create rules using Regular Expression or Wildcard pattern types
  • Use back-referencing to specify dynamic target URLs
  • Exclude URLs from redirection
  • Process captured texts using URL encoding/decoding, base64 encoding/decoding, or replacing occurrences

In addition, you can unlock the following features:

  • Enabling an unlimited number of rules
  • Syncing rules with your other Mac, iPhone, and iPad via iCloud

You can unlock these features in two ways:

  • Standard app: Unlock via an In-App Purchase (subscription or one-time purchase) within the free app.
  • Pro app: Purchase the fully unlocked RedirectWeb Pro upfront. This version was created specifically to support bulk purchasing through Apple Business Manager or Apple School Manager (VPP).

Your purchase or subscription is shared across your Mac, iPhone, iPad, and Apple Vision Pro via Universal Purchase. Your support helps ongoing development.
